Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VoiceLogs, operated by VoiceLogs ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using VoiceLogs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use VoiceLogs.
1. Use of the service
VoiceLogs is a voice-powered admin tool designed for tradespeople and small business owners. You may use VoiceLogs for lawful business purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use VoiceLogs for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
- Use the service to transmit harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without our written consent
2. Accounts
You must create an account to use VoiceLogs. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. Accounts may not be transferred to another person without our prior written consent.
3. Subscriptions and billing
VoiceLogs is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Free trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial. No payment is required during the trial period.
- Billing: After the free trial, your subscription will automatically renew monthly unless cancelled. Payment is processed through Apple's App Store.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
4. Third-party integrations
VoiceLogs integrates with third-party services including Xero and Google Calendar. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective terms of service of those providers. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services.
By connecting Xero or Google Calendar, you authorise VoiceLogs to access and interact with your data in those services on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Data and privacy
Your use of VoiceLogs is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using VoiceLogs, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
VoiceLogs and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your personal or business purposes.
You retain ownership of any data you input into VoiceLogs. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the service to you.
7. Accuracy of outputs
VoiceLogs uses artificial intelligence to extract actions from voice recordings. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all extracted actions before confirming them, including time entries, expenses, and invoices created in Xero. We are not liable for errors in invoices or financial records resulting from inaccurate voice recognition or AI extraction.
8. Availability and uptime
We aim to keep VoiceLogs available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time for maintenance, security, or business reasons. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoiceLogs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of VoiceLogs shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
VoiceLogs is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
Upon termination, your right to use VoiceLogs ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of VoiceLogs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of VoiceLogs after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
